Sex Work and Human Trafficking

In November, CGC researcher Trine Mygind Korsby presented her research in the Anthropology program’s Colloquium series at the Graduate Center of City University of New York (CUNY).

The talk dealt with her research on transnational sex workers and pimps from Romania who travel to other EU countries to work in the sex industry. In the talk, Korsby analyzed the incentives for, and the social relationships affected by, their migration.
